Château de Lancyre in Pic Saint Loup : La Grande Cuvée Blanc

The Grande Cuvée is a blend of Roussanne and Marsanne aged in oak barrels.

The vines are approximately 20 years old and are planted on hard limestone soils located on a block known as Les Couronnes.
The vineyard and wines are carefully nurtured all year round :
- the vines are pruned short and work is conducted in the spring to restrict yields,
- the wines are aged for 8 months in new oak sourced from French forests.
All these stages combine to produce an extremely refined wine showing beautiful freshness. Delicate, mellowed oak dovetails impeccably with the broad array of rich aromatics that characterise this superlative bottling.
